When you visit his listening space, he talks about his room, not the gear so much. He does of course explain what the different components are and talks about why he chose the gear he has, but where most people talk about their "system", he talks about his "room". If you google, you can find an in-depth overview of the construction of the room. He's taken a very holistic approach to building his listening space and spent countless hours perfecting it.

I wish we had a separate forum for living room systems. I may be in a minority but that would interest me a lot more than reading about $500K dedicated rooms.

@hilde45 If the day came where I had the means to have a system like Mikes I would call him up first for a listen and consultation. I agree with @big_greg that his room probably sounds incredible. happy listening ! |
