Who is going to be the first manufacturer to make a Fibre Optic purifier?

Audiophile are us. I'm surprised none of the Audiophile companies have yet jumped on an up and coming opportunity to offer an Audiophile Fibre Optic purifier. Something to clean up reflections etc. Just a thought. Comments?

@simonb The problem for replacing a cable for me is it goes through two walls and is very carefully managed.

Feel your pain here. Try a reinforced FO cable from LanShack: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/uq-foBXyR1k. I used their Ethernet cable based on a recommendation from a member here, and my experience has been very positive.

If you have fiber to your home, this is what happens

1) The fiber has many twists and turns from the pole/underground, but the underlying hardware takes care of any errors, so there’s no issue there.

2) The fiber in the ONT on your outside wall (or inside wall if you bribed the installer) turns it into ethernet or MOCA depending on your provider.  Both ethernet and MOCA have robust error correction at a hardware level, and the IP has error correction at OSI level 2, which is not optional

3)  Then you turn it back into fiber for the last 30-60 feet.

Is that the idea?
