$5000 living room speakers for classical music

- Roon/Qobuz WiFI ($28/month)

- miniDSP SHD power.  (brain, $1500)

- Focal Aria Evo X No.1. (2-ways speakers, $$2600)

- Dual subwoofers: SVS SB-1000 Pro  ($1000)

This setup could be a best of $5000 reference level performance in living room?

Great subs choice. I have the same pair in the front corners of my listening room.  Excellent for music of all kinds.  You can adjust as needed with the app from song to song if you like without leaving your listening position.

Clear choice

Harbeth C7ES-XD

Been an audiophile for many years and owned many speakers. For Classical Harbeth is above anything I’ve ever heard. These stand mounts have a  fantastic midrange and a low end that does not need a sub. The highs are extended and silky. Soundstage is wide and deep. And they even sound great at low or mid volume. They are the sweet spot in the Harbeth line. At 6 Ohms they are easy to drive. At $4800 a steal.

Thank you.   So many choices.

Looks like below is more appealing now (if wait year end sale for 50% off)

-  Wiim pro plus.  (as a brain)

-  Arcam SA30 amp. (as a brawn)

-  KEF R11. Meta. speakers

Nothing can go wrong?   $7000

I would recommend Harbeth speakers within your price range; in my experience, they are not so great at rock and reggae as I'd like, but they are awesome for classical and jazz and more acoustic music.
