Yes, I agree - it was wonderful to meet some fellow enthusiasts and the system and music were fantastic (as was the food!).  I also learned new things that day, which is always nice.

Hey Guys, I’m not living in Carlsbad any more, but used to be a member of the SD Audio Guild. I’m trying to track down some old friends, Jan Montana and John Thomas. Anyone know their contact information?

The LA-OC is one of the largest audio clubs who regularly hold periodic events.  I’m a member even though I live up north in Silicon Valley. 

I had joined the LA-OC group, but quit when they wouldn’t let me post on their FB page.  Seems like only the high paying manufacturers get to post. 

They also don't make it easy for individual get togethers.  I was told to come to the meetings (held all across LA/Orange County) and talk to people there about it.

Finally, I continue to get their e-mails, but when I try to sign up for their Zoom chats, it never lets me in.  These note that they are both for members and non-members.

Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.  It is nice that they give free lunch at meetings.
