Removing Caution Sticker on Top of Accuphase

A stupid question I know, but better to be safe. Has anyone removed the "Caution" (aka idiot) sticker on top of their new Accuphase equipment. The one that says "Do not Touch Hot Surface.

It is a beautiful piece of equipment to look at and than this stupid sticker ruins the lines when the top is in view. I am so tempted to pick and pull it up but I don’t want to damage an otherwise flawless piece.

Is it best to get it up while new or wait some time for the adhesive to warm up and/or weaken over time.

UPDATE: After using the unit for a few hours, I could not resist. The sticker pulls up really easy,  no residue. Obviously they used a weaker adhesive.

Good to know. Thanks for the question. I have a brand new A-80 Amp on its way from Japan that should be here in a couple weeks. Like you I will need to remove this sticker. Enjoy your new Accuphase unit. Beautiful equipment!

Yes, that sticker would have lasted about five minutes in my jurisdiction... maybe less.

Most modern stickers can be easily removed with the application of heat from a hair dryer. The heat generated by your unit had already started the process for you!
