ETHERNET TO FIBEROPTIC

Check out my setup….short ethernet from router to conversion box the fiber to another box Ethernet connected to my Dac.i did this for lightning protection but I’m getting a much clearer spacious sound,YMMV

I have tried both optical and one of these other good results.

as commented earlier, I would not try to mod the Innuos. Just use a short, high quality Ethernet cable for the last run.

a very easy and cost effective solution is the gigafoil v4... it will need a decent lps (5v) to drive it though...
