Experience with Inline Ground Loop Eliminators?

PS - That same loop also can happen from anything with an external antenna, like Satellite TV, FM, etc. 

Also, a connected PC will do this too, so before diagnosing this as a striclty preamp/amp problem make sure you've physically pulled off all upstream devices.

I agree to avoid ground loop eliminators.

Make sure any cable TV or antenna connections are grounded at your power strip/source.

One thing you might try is having all your components connected to the same grounded power  strip/source, and make sure each power cord is of the same length and wire gauge. Best if they are all the same manufacturer and model power cord.

Make sure you don't exceed 15 amps, or the power strip and outlet's limitations.

There are plugs you can buy that eliminate ground loop, Morley Him exterminator is one, you could try it out.  You could also get a cheap converter plug, goes from a 3 prong to a 2 prong plug, try it to see if that breaks the ground loops, if it does, you know the more expensive Morley plug would work, that would just be for testing as your pre or amp isn’t grounded properly when you use that type of plug adapter.  That all said, decent chance it’s not being caused by your amp or pre, something else like a wall wart, PC, WiFi / Mesh network extender, cable box, exc… good luck?
