Comparisons of the Pass-Labs XP-22 with the CODA 07X ?

I presently own a Pass-Labs XP-22 and I'm pretty happy with it.  I just ordered a CODA #16 amp and was wondering if any out there have done a sonic comparison between the XP-22 and the 07X.  I'm seriously considering switching preamps and would like to know more about the 07X from owners.

Thanks !

I had the XP-12 and the 07x fronting a Coda #8 and had a strong preference for the Pass. Note that my version of the 07x was one rev before the version that teajay reviewed, and I think it underwent a pretty significant upgrade for the next rev. Nonetheless, assuming a similar signature was kept, I am guessing I would still prefer the Pass.

On the recommendation of a few guys from the magico forms I ordered a Coda CSiB ( an 07x and number 8 in one box) for my A3’s. Based on what they said the coda is very similar to the pass sound, pass being a bit more rounded and little better sound stage, the coda more detailed up top and better bass control. They said its really splitting hairs here as they both are similar. Understanding the Coda guys and Nelson Pass used to be from the same company prior so the similarities are there. The new 07X is supposed to be very nice and well made. I’ve not heard either though.

@hk_fan  Good question...  I like the sound of the XP-22 however I'm looking for a little more micro-detail in the music.  The XP-22 has terrific low noise specs and micro-detail is usually goes hand in hand with very low noise figures, however if the 07x would have a little more of that, I would be interested in hearing it.
