What happens when you stop letting streaming apps pick your music?
I’ve been using Sonic Oracle and I love it.  Totally worth the small cost IMO!
I think I have found the End Game Amp
Congratulations!  I too am a Rockport owner and fan.  Enjoy your new amplifiers - are yours the orange ones on the website?  Those are stunning.
Jay's barbecue - disinvited
I have heard through the audio grapevine that as a fall celebration Jay will be hosting a crab boil.  It will include all the fixins’ such as potato’s, corn, sausage and the like. While it is true that emerginsoul has been dis-invited to the BBQ,...
video about taking delivery of large electrostatic panels that replaced my TADs.
Congratulations!  Very cool video and I could hear the differences between the TAD and Prodigio speakers clearly.
Jay's barbecue - disinvited
I'd be willing to contribute to a cleaning fund to have Jay's new rug cleaned by the wonderful Stanley Steamer folks, provided you were re-invited to the BBQ. I think that's beyond reasonable and Jay owes it to you to give you another chance. Ca...
late to streaming, recommendations?
I was about to recommend Lumin as I’ve been happy with my U1 Mini for years. Enjoy!

Will you still be sending crab dip to the BBQ?  I think it's the least you can do at this point.
Rockport Avior II's in 19x24.5 room?
Congrats!  Cygnus are fantastic speakers!!
I built what Tidal and Qobuz won't. And people are loving it.
I've been very happy with the Oracle as well!  Kudos!!
What's the Verdict—Serious Question about Devialet Phantom
They are slick systems and sound very good IMO.
Rockport Avior II's in 19x24.5 room?
The bass from the Aviors was excellent in my experience and they would pressurize my room depending on music type, volume etc.  It depends on what you mean by pressurizing the room as to whether you would need subs or not.  As an example, when I p...
Rockport Avior II's in 19x24.5 room?
I had them in a 22x22x13H room and they had no problems.  Fantastic speaker.
epiphany in the high-end listening room...
I would agree with your conclusion.  Typically the higher up you go, the better the cabinet.  Cabinets make a huge difference even with the same drivers and crossovers.  Rigid, inert cabinets impart less “color” to the sound and let you hear more ...
$35000 to $40,000. speakers what would you buy and why?
@ronboco  I am using CH Precision electronics and Wireworld series 10 cabling.  I am upgrading to Lyras and hope to receive them this month.

Another vote for Rockport.  I have the Avior II’s and they are outstanding.
