The Music Room is Slipping

I cannot recommend doing business with them any longer. They DEEPLY lowball you when you sell them gear and then forget all about the mass profits they made on you when you are looking to buy something from them, They offer to stand behind a purchase, yes... but the reality is that it is all about max profits on used gear and lack of any sort of support or consideration going forward. They are nothing more than a pawnshop for audio gear and I am done with them.

Did a quick search, TMR lists it at $1249 and know where in their hype do they say $2500. Looking at other vendors sites TMR is undercutting them significantly.

@faustuss from their site:

Age: Unknown

# of Owners: 1

Tobacco Exposure: No

Service History: None

MSRP: $2500

I like TMR. I’ve bought and sold there. My only complaint is that on many of their listed items, they state that the age is unknown, when you know very well that they didn’t buy and inspect it without a very good idea of how old it was. I wouldn’t consider offering to buy if the age is truly unknown. YMMV.

When I sell to TMR, if I am the original owner, I can tell them how old the unit is. If I am not the original owner, I cannot be sure how old the unit is. TMR only knows the age, if the seller tells them. Age can certainly be important, especially on items that were in production for many years.
