Unknown pair of Dynaudios

Hi,

Has anybody heard of the Dynaudio Facettes? I might of spelled them wrong but it is something like that. I heard these were really good speakers but I cant find anything on the web about them. Does anybody know which drivers they use and what the specs are on them. Also can anybody describe what they look like.

thanks in advance

Not an Esotar. If it‘s the form factor you‘re after, find a Saphire, much better and truer.

On the Dynaudio website here is their full-page product listing for the Facette:

Facette | Floorstand | A milestone in the history

Continuing on the Dynaudio website the Facette drivers are listed here:

Dynaudio Home Spare parts - End of service

Tweeter:  D28/AF and Woofer:  17W-75

From Audiogon's Blue Book it was introduced in 1990 and cost $3,800 new.

Dynaudio made several versions of the D28 over the years, and it is the ancestor of all of today's Dynaudio tweeters up to and including the Esotar 3.

And I should have mentioned that the 17W-75 mid/woofer has a number of descendants also.
