Going to Japan and buy from Japan

OP here. I’m eyeing on an integrated E-800 or their latest E-800S. Someone has vbrought up the idea of visiting their manufacturer. I’d hope to able to buy one there and have them shipping to my home in US and perhaps they will have a tech convert power too?

Anyone here from Japan or have family there who can help me navigating?

I just came back from Japan after a

month. Audio, culture and great food. I brought back heavy pieces of equipment.  They were in their original double boxes! I went to a dept store a bought a very large hard case piece of luggage. Hard case because I didn’t want airplane handling to puncture thru soft case.  A very bright fiber glass luggage with wheels. A one time use luggage.  I had all paperwork but it wasn’t needed. Hamada to JFK to Naples Fl all good. Go to a Kisa jazz bar too !!!

) my equipment was turntable and Cartridge and phono preamp.  There are
