Brand new Denafrips Pontus 15 clicking constantly

I just got a brand new Denafrips Pontus 15 delivered. I swapped out my Mytek Brooklyn DAC using the same cables. I'm getting a constant click, about one a second. Here's a recording of it,

I am using a Bluesound Node 2i as a streamer, coaxial output into the Denafrips. Using it in NOS mode, but it happens in OS mode too. I'm using the single-ended outputs into a Primaluna Dialogue Premium preamp, and HP poweramp.

Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this. I'm hoping it's not a defective unit, but it sounds like a digital processing issue to me.

Nice hard reboot on computer had to do it several times a day on our ele ctronic medical records. Never on my paper. Some times have to do it on the smart TV an I mean smaRt! .glad it's fixed.enjoy the music

You may want to turn off the Node's "audio clock trim"  OFF.   Also make sure digital pass through is ON.  Basically disable MQA.

Is the source a file uploaded from a CD?  Does it happen with all recordings?  When I get something like that it usually means that the CD I ripped wasn't in great shape and the disc reader couldn't track it well. The poor tracking became part of the ripped file, so it plays that way every time.

I wanted to follow up on this post because I keep seeing it when I search Google for Pontus 15.

The problem was that I was swapping out components without switching them off first. Once I restarted everything, it all worked perfectly. No issue with the Pontus 15 at all.

The Pontus 15 is every bit as good as the reviews it gets. It took a while to burn in. I thought it was really dull-sounding at first - rolled off too much on the top. But as other users have posted, at some point, it's like a veil is lifted, and it sounds fabulous.

The soundstage is amazing - for the first time in my system, I can really hear the front-to-back layers. Bass is tight, big upgrade for me there too. I read one review that said it 'put meat on the bones,' and I get that now.

Now my analog chain needs some upgrading, because the performance from the Pontus 15  shows I have room to improve there.

Funny how every upgrade reveals a new reason to upgrade again.
