Power conditioner

They are very different products.  Keep in mind that the AQ 5000 is a 20amp unit and will need a 20amp power cord. 

I'm using the AQ 5000 on a 20amp circuit and I'm very pleased with the performance. 

The Audio Quest Niagra. It is a power condtioner. It is nearly universal that power conditioners have a very positive impact. There are very isolated instances where folks have really clean power and do not benefit from it. 

Power conditioning is sometimes helpful but nothing beats a PS Audio power regenerator.

battery power like Stromtank is superior, expensive unfortunately 

Audioquest those models are developed by the engineer that left furman that is used in alot of recording studioes..watch upscale audio on audioquest 5000 were they interview him. I have all those models and the furman 20 i because they have capicitors in them that have > 49 amps .I have hig kw amps and these are not current limited. To avoid ground loops you plug them in same outlet with in phase power from you breaker box. Many say plug the amp into the wall but I have too many power spikes and can't afford new amps due to brown outs or surges. My ps aaaudio i love shuts down on some big amps at high volume and furman wont.i like paul and have alot of thier stuff.the fr 30 is made out of textreme or teonix almost beryllium quality.sounds fantastic.good luck in the search.
