The Music Room is Slipping

I have traded items in and bought from TMR. They stand behind what they sell, used or new. I can't complain about anything with them. I would buy from again and would consider trading in or selling to them if I was not able to move the item myself. They do make it easy. 

I have had good experiences in the past trading in my amps - I worked with Ryan.

I recently reached out to get an offer for a straight purchase of my speakers and was referred to Jerry who has gone silent after the first call.

I've had mixed results with TMR. I've bought a couple of pieces and the prices were def on the high side but I bought anyway. I also tried to buy an expensive B&W subwoofer they'd had listed for over 6 months and the process of making an offer and getting their response was like a slow motion deal at a car dealership. The salesperson had to relay my offer to their manager and then get back to me- it took days when it should have happened in a few minutes. The sub was $3700 or so, I was offering $3200- not an insult. Their shipping charge was absurd and a deal breaker. They wanted $500 to ship it- I'd just sold and shipped a big JL that weighed more and I'd sold it to someone in CO- shipping was $135. TMR wouldn't move on the shipping charges and took forever to communicate. I bought a pair of used REL S812 after wasting ten days with TMR. I recently explored selling mt ARC REF160s. They were interested but wanted to take it on consignment, send me a pallet and a strapping kit (!) and charge $700 to ship it to them- and wanted 35% as their selling fee! Too much. 

Update: Jerry called me back literally right after I posted. He had a family emergency and didn’t set his OOO message.

i could never recommend doing business with them. ive bought from them, but i sure as hell wouldnt recommend it.
