Innuos or Aurender

I am looking to purchase a server/ streamer maybe even with ripper used. I have narrowed my choices down to the Innuos Zen mini 3 w power supply or the new model Stream1. A power supply would put that over my budget. The Aurenders I'm looking at are the N150, N10 and the A1000. I am looking for ease of use interface, Tidal capable and roon capable. I must be able to transfer my old wav. files on to it. CD ripper software would be a plus even without a cd drawer. Obviously, sound is very important. I will not get to demonstrate either. The rest of my system consists of my newly purchased Garlubidor dac, Lamm 2.1 deluxe pre, VTL st150 amp and Vandersteen 2sig3 speakers.

Aurender. They make arguably the best and a full range... it is all they do. Best service, extremely good builds and sound great at each tier. I own two after owning and auditioning in my home a number of other ones.

I would get the highest quality streamer you can get. However, I would not buy one with a ripper. You can ripe with a PC or laptop and second if you have a good streamer, you are likely just to leave your CDs and rips behind. On a good streamer like an Aurender streaming should sound as good as stored files.

I have an Innuos Zen MK3. It's a very musical unit and does everything you want. I have even preferred it to a technically slightly better but not quite as musical (to me) Zenith MK3.

Impossible answer ,IHave the innuos zenith mk3 which has 3 linear power supplies great isolation a nice Teac SS hard drive acoustic isolation and does auto updates

well thought out , excellent Mundorf capacitors with plenty of filtering, and verygood sense app,but upper Aurender has good

upperend products ,do your research and what’s inside that counts ,each sound a bit different ,Mundorf capacitors are warming sounding on average.you decide what sounds right in your system.

I have the Stream 1–with LPS1 power supply, 2 TB drive, annd Phoenix USB reclocking module—and it is wonderful … a great upgrade from my iPad Pro.  I also purchased a CD drive, as the Stream 1 can rip CDs.  The sound quality is excellent. The Sense app is very easy to use and works superbly with my Tidal subscription.

I appreciate the answers. It seems as if the Innuos has a big following. Mike, it seems as if you do exactly what I'd like to do. I just figured out my current LPS will work with the Stream1. It won't have the aesthetics.
