LOVED Three Dog Night back in the day.

R.I.P. Chuck...thanks for the tunes!!!

mofimadness

My Tampa neighbor was a high school senior somewhere in the LA area and his prom committee booked a local, as-yet unknown band for their prom.

You guessed it: “One” became a nationwide hit single after they were booked, but they didn’t snub the people that had supported them and played the gig while “One” was at #5 on the charts and “Eli’s Coming” followed soon after.

Hearing that made me respect them even more.

i saw the Joy to the World Tour in ‘71, a great show, then saw the band again a few years ago for their “Old Dog” tour. It was amazing to me how many of their hits he was the lead vocal. RIP

Just saw 3 dog night last wk in concert.hutton is the only original member he hes his 2 kids playing base and drums. It was still great. All the people sitting on the floor limped in.i guess at your 60th anniversary were getting old.music still lives on and enjoy it
