I hope all is well for your wife now...( i can empathise easily here) My favorite song of reverend Davis are all on this album i listened for 55 years now times to times... A pill for the spirit flows...We hear clearly here in spite of his aging his voice magic and playings...The sound is positive for our health unlike many others.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omqqhuscEUk&list=PLSpIWg9VNsSKc2xhkmUbDJaaapCnoZoVL

Where do you get your facts? You obviously don't actively seek out current reissues as there are new titles hitting the presses every day. In addition, many are meticulously remastered providing vinyl versions that sound better than any previous vinyl release that came before. |
Thank you. I must mention Rev Davies’ Ragtime Guitar record that I played to death in the old days. A perfect answer to the question "why vinyl." Going off topic, you have prompted me to delve into his wonderful Angels and Demons box set available on CD and streaming. My wife became a poster girl for breast cancer survival and has had fifteen amazing years since to see the kids grow up. Her prognosis is not so good now, so we make the most of everyday while she’s still relatively well. It was her who encouraged me to get back into vinyl after she became ill again. Life’s just too short not to do things you enjoy. Why not vinyl, indeed.
