Looking for a DAC $2500-$4000

Just wanted to say thank you for all the great suggestions. I have created a Docs folder with all of your recommendations and will start going over each one individually and then compare my top 5 to each other. Lots to learn.

@davide256 I probably will not be going beyond streaming music through Qobuz. So I don't think I will be purchasing and downloading High Res music files. But you got me thinking that I should get a better DAC with a USB connection for digital. The Cambridge doesn't have one. So I'm limited to Coaxial. Do you have any Streamers to recommend?

@meambler I am a Gon Member and reasonably active on the Gon, across a few of the Categories.

My observations are the Digital Section, is one that is seen to be evolving constantly and not locked down to a few regular contributors. The increased contributions does enable a observation to occur only, not impacting on the Threads Growth.

Googling and Bookmarking makes easy work of creating shortlists for furthering  investigations. 

@pindac  That’s what I did. I created a Bookmarks folder named DACs, copy and pasted each DAC that has been recommended here in google and bookmarked each google page to the DACs folder.  

Those of you who have recommended the Gustard R30. It doesn’t come with WiFi. I am currently using a Cambridge CXN V2 that also doesn’t have WiFi internally but it came with a WiFi dongle that gets plugged into a USB slot and allows WiFi usage.

Fear not, you have two very good and relatively inexpensive options.  Get a Wi-Fi extender and run an Ethernet cable from that to the Gustard, or for a little more you could get a Mesh setup and run a cable from the Mesh node to the streamer.  Lots of people here have done this with great results.
