 Ohhh.. The feeling is welling up....I may just have to get a TT/Phono pre.

When I listen to an LP I think to myself, "this is better than a CD!" But when I put a CD (or better still, an SACD) on, I think to myself, "this is as good as an LP!"

But one thing I can't do with CD/SACD is listen to different machines on a whim. With LPs I can choose which cartridge to play with, and going back to just one would be hard.

What a guitar player! I used to try to play some of his tunes, but never got anywhere near his sound.

@pindac What I miss most with vinyl  is mates popping round with a new purchase for me to listen to. Those where the days. You can't do that with streaming. It's all messaging and no networking.
