What is your experience with Magico A3 or A5 speakers and the company as a whole?

Just auditioned a pair of Magico A3 and A5 speakers to replace my 20 year old B&W 802D (1st gen diamond).

Does anyone have any experience with either of these speakers since they are not cheap.

Also, not familiar with Magico as a company. Are they reputable, how is their customer service if you have an issue, etc. My electronics are PSaudio, and their customer service is 2nd to none.

Also, how safe is it to have a Beryllium tweeted in my home. I heard that if it breaks it is very dangerous to inhale any dust particles. For instance, Focal Sopra 3 put a metal cage around their Beryllium tweeter to keep probing fingers away from it. But the Magico speaker, it is unprotected. Heck, even the speaker does not come with a dust cover.

Please, any thoughts......and suggestions

The natural sound music and vocal are warm and organic. People are begging for  soothing and healing sounds. The sound/music from a speaker should be warm and organic. A3 cabinet is made with aluminum metal which sounds hard and cold (nothing to do with warm or organic). I don't know how people stand that sound. Alex/Wavetouch audio

I compared the Magico A3 to the Sonus Faber Olympica Nova V. I found the Magico too analytical and bought the Sonus Faber which I'm very happy with.

I have the A3s with the grills.  Demoed A5 but the larger size for a NYC apartment and higher price pushed me to A3s. Since I need to have the speakers relatively close to the front wall due to the room, the sealed nature of the Magicos was a significant consideration.  I like the look with the grills, they attach magnetically, and provide protection from accidental damage.  Granted that it feels like a ripoff that Magico charges separately for grills but the alternative view is some people don't like the grills so it saves them ~$500.  Using Isoacoustics Gaia footers as could not justify MPODs price.
