Home Theater Curtains

Another member recently posted RYBHOME.com as having 3 layer sound proof curtains OEKO-TEX.  I still had the link open on my phone.  I know nothing about the website and product.  Please let us know what you learn.  

I did several dedicated home theatre rooms. I bought curtains from a theatrical supply house in NYC. That product has to be available- it was plush, black out and fire retardant. I still have a piece of it that I use over the rear door to my listening room, many years (decades) later. 

Signature Blackout Double Wide Velvet Rod Pocket Single Curtain Panel by Half Price Drapes. Available in different sizes, I ordered 2 ea. x 100"W x 84"L Black. They were $288 at the time. We already had some heavy duty curtain rods in storage.

Very heavy and substantial and they work great in my theater. You can see them along the side walls of my basement theater, the last thumbnail under my systems page.

I was just speaking to Northeast Stage - very nice and helpful folks.  They are sending a swatch book via UPS today for their Magic Velour @ $48/yd and Memorable Velour @ $38/yd curtains.  Both are 54" wide and have NRC: 1.05 and avg SAC of 1.04 and come in a large color variety.

They also have 118 in. wide wool serge material in black only (NRC 1.00 / SAC 1.01) in black for $49 / yd.
