Tin Pan Alley and Thanks to You- which speakers play the tap on the snares the best?

Maggies are excellent, but sometimes I really need to twist the throttle.

Being a mostly upper bass and midrange sound I’m a little surprised that no one has mentioned one of the Omega models??

Why do you say speakers? Maybe your amps is not up to it? Speaker cables or any other cable interconnect? Maybe your source is not up to it?  Just thinking

Call the number and ask him the same question. The chief speaker designer at tekton (very easy to reach) is also a lifelong professional drummer. Ask about driver, response charteristics, etc that give the perception of it.

Garth Powell (Audioquest's main engineer) is also a professional drummer and instrument enthusiast.

You may learn something about the instruments themselves you didn't know before.

But, you ask such a question on the forum and it will soon just be pages and pages of despo sales guys who know nothing about percussion instruments.....but, they will be busy advertising names/models they've had difficulty selling (getting it to move for the month).
