Really? I would think all the parts that make up my Hana ML are proprietary and that no aftermarket or "third party" service would have access to them. Furthermore, how could the techniques and the assembly processes that Hana invented and specializes in for their product line be "well Understood" by a third party? I think you're overreaching and adding to the plethora of misinformation people invent in these forums! |
@faustuss I feel confident from your comment that you do not read the Small Print, which is for all to read, and in the case of a selection of Brands discussed on the Gon in threads that cover similar topics. Info is only misleading when it comes from a Source of ignorance, I never specifically referred to Hana, I made the Statement: " A refurbishment of a Cartridge sent to the Manufacturer for this purpose, is also unlikely to be a returned Cartridge with all the same parts as the original. There is small print that clearly states equivalent parts are to be selected. I doubt if anybody from R&D has spent too much time learning how to optimise the equivalent parts into the Olden design. What the Customer gets is the satisfaction the Cartridge in need of a Treatment was undertaken by the original producer, maybe not the original assembler or original parts to be replaced. " Brands Small Print about equivalent parts has been copied and pasted in the past to show what is on offer. In past Threads Lyra has even contributed themselves via JC. Where it is made known there is a Brand Model, that is refurbished with parts specifically long term stored. It was made known to be a uncommon occurrence. I am always careful about how I inform and much of what is said, will be seen after a little investigation by another, if they take the time. To be a practice that is in use. Such a cost is attached to a particular Brand or Model from a Brand. I have no recollection of being a Brand Promoter, I sell very little within the audio world and have no deals done with anybody to steer towards them. All reports are made with my recollections of experiences had, or a description of a trusted friends experience, who I know shares similar like to my own. I recently made a Brand known, but only as it was not mentioned when the limited options that offer the equivalent electronic support were under discussion.
