AMT Tweeters integration

Hello,

I'm looking for a pair of floorstanding speakers in the $2500-4500 range. Since they will be driven by a 70-wpc integrated tube amplifier, my options are limited to efficient loudspeakers (ideally above 88db); additionally, I lean towards a musical-warm sound (Sonus Faber, Dynaudio).

Aside from Revival Audio and Dyaudio, most of the speakers I'm considering have AMT tweeters (Dali, Whafedale, etc.).

So, wondering if anyone has had the opportunity to compare both configurations (3-way regular drivers vs 3-way regular drivers plus AMT tweeter).

My main concern is that, at this price range, the integration of the AMT tweeter with the other drivers might not be well executed, and that the overall sound presentation may be perceived as if there were two pairs of separate speakers, one pair doing the low and mid frequencies and a second pair doing the high frequency.

Please let me know your thoughts, much appreciated it,

Thanks,

So far I've owned three pairs of speakers with AMT tweeters:  Martin Logan Motion 40, Audiovector QR1, and Salk HT2-TL. I really like them and could recommend any of the three brands. I would agree with whomever said integrating the AMT is no more problematic than any other driver. I still own the Audiovectors and the Salks but regrettably had to sell the Martin Logans to finance the others. To my ears the ML AMT tweeter was special.

Thank you all for the advice. Sorry I was not clear; I meant the intergation of the AMT tweeters in a final product, I don't intend to buy AMT drivers and built my own speakers.

At this moment I am torn between regular drivers (Dyanaudio Evoke 30, Revival Audio Atalante 4) on one side and AMTs (Dali Opticon 6 MK2 and Wharfedale Aura 3) on the other.

Either, I don't mind buying used; but, as I said, given my tube amplifier, need to choose within efficient ones.
