Break in for new DAC

I just ordered a LTA AERO DAC with Ray Reserve tubes.  I have read that this need 200/300 hours of break-in?   If so, since I have a All tube integrated amp, I really don't want to leave it on that long.  If i have my player run music into new DAC over and over, does the amp really need to be on?

Thanks Much

I spread my equipment so the components are at least 3ft away from one another’s power transformers.

EMI radiation follows the inverse square law relationship as distance is increased. Meaning to the layman’s whatever radiation is emitted at 1 foot, by increasing this to 3 feet the radiation is decreased by 1/9 th of what it was.

Just throwing another number around if your unit is stacked on top of another, and estimating that the distance from centre of mass from one units transformer to another units sensitive electronics is 4 inches, by moving it to 3 feet away will result in 81 times less EMI.

Definitely something to consider.

I expect a delivery today of; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NK8H1Z2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1.

After I pull the NEW cable I’ll check the EMF/EMI numbers before & after. There’s also copper blankets that I can drape between units if I get high reading. Right now I don’t hear or see anything negative in my system, but thanks for the clarifications, Gents

@danmar123

Let’s say there is an audible difference; not everyone will notice it. For example, you have novices on ASR and AVS who 1. use four 524" subwoofers, 2. an AVR, 3. they neuter their high frequency using flat speakers and 4. additionally use room correction. They won’t notice Jack because they’re only using 1% of the frequency bandwidth (exaggeration). Then they go around asking, ’Who’s Jack?’

@bartsw, I do value @audphile1 & others here on the Forum, when their suggestions make sense. I'm limited for space. I'm going to pull the new Ethernet cable today & check the EMI/EMF numbers while I have my Cabinet away from the wall. I'm one who believes in squeezing every last detail, out of my system within reason of $$$$.

Also, @audphile1, I'm going to relocate the Wiim off the Aero. Once the Cabinets off the wall. yes BTW, the new cable is 5x's the size of the cable I already have there. (peace of mind)
