I spread my equipment so the components are at least 3ft away from one another’s power transformers.
EMI radiation follows the inverse square law relationship as distance is increased. Meaning to the layman’s whatever radiation is emitted at 1 foot, by increasing this to 3 feet the radiation is decreased by 1/9 th of what it was.
Just throwing another number around if your unit is stacked on top of another, and estimating that the distance from centre of mass from one units transformer to another units sensitive electronics is 4 inches, by moving it to 3 feet away will result in 81 times less EMI.
Definitely something to consider.
