I don’t want to add any bloom. I want to add thickness and the timbre copper can bring. A copper Furutech like product if you will. One of the engineers of a cable company I like says that there are cable companies like Norma that can with copper what the high end companies are doing with silver. Was hoping to get some input. I think shunyata was on the right path but what I heard was not that great. I even auditioned the highest from the top x model a few weeks ago at a dealer and the aq dragon destroyed it in resolution, texture and body
Who makes the best copper cables?
I’m a hardcore cable dork
I’ve been through many cheaper copper cables and even more medium to higher priced silver cables.
I mainly own Furutech project v1
but they are not a cable. After they warm up they disappear from the system which is great. I love that. But I’ve tried to make everything in my system like that
now I want to add a little of that thick voluptuous copper timbres into my system.
I know copper can be just as resolving as most silver. Clarus crimson was unreal in details but it was too slow, dark and bloomy
i do not like cables that have capacitors to try and artificially alter sound staging also do not like shunyata. Good but too cool and artificial sounding
Anyone have any recommendations?

Let’s get one thing out of the way: “best” is subjective. What works best in my system may not translate the same way in yours, and system context always matters. That said, my personal end-game copper cables have been Combak’s 聖 Hijiri “Million” series cables. https://www.combak.net/cables/HIJIRI-Interconnect-Cables.html |
