Tekton Double Impacts

Anybody out there heard these??

I have dedicated audio room 14.5x20.5x9 ft.  Currently have Marantz Reference CD/Intergrated paired to Magnepan 1.7's with REL T-7 subs.  For the vast majority of music I love this system.  The only nit pick is that it is lacking/limited in covering say below 35 hz or so.  For the first time actually buzzed the panel with an organ sacd. Bummer.  Thought of upgrading subs to rythmicks but then I will need to high pass the 1.7's.  Really don't want to deal with that approach.

Enter the Double Impacts.  Many interesting things here.  Would certainly have a different set of strengths here.  Dynamics, claimed bottom octave coverage in one package, suspect a good match to current electronics.

I've read all the threads here so we do not need to rehash that.  Just wondering if others out there have FIRST HAND experience with these or other Tekton speakers

Thanks.

I’ve some Nebos for a few months and had DIs some years ago. They were great speakers. Wish I had them side by side to compare. I think the Nebos are a little more amp picky. A little more refined overall maybe? One of the only things that bothered me about the DIs and wasn’t a big deal was when getting up or down from the chair they would sound off. I don’t get that same sensation with the Nebos probably because of the larger array? I think the Nebo has better low bass where the DI had a slamming mid bass the Nebo does not quite match.

@mofojo  I have never heard the Nebos but not surprised by your comments.  I have always enjoyed the live snap to the midbass on the DI's.  I use them with a pair of HSU subs to reinforce the bottom octave.  In my listening room I only listen in my meticulously placed chair so I never listen off axis.  I think the first generation DI's were optimized for this but I believe a later revision improved upon this.  What are you driving your Nebos with?

I just picked up a mint Simaudio I-5 last Friday for pretty cheap. I’m actually a little dumbfounded how good this little bastard sounds. Way better than Rega Elicit Mk5 which I am borrowing. Also better than the Spark 100MK (basically same as Cayin A100T) . Super punchy warm but detailed.

I had a Lyngdorf 2170 when had the DIs. That was a great pairing. Thinking of tracking another one down at some point.
