Craig Taborn (keyboards), Tomeka Reid (cello), Ches Smith (drums, vibes, percussion)
Fantastic new recording in the chamber-jazz style that ECM is well know for.
Taborn continues to demonstrate he is one of the best current jazz pianists, both in chops and feel.
Reid has great chops and a creative approach to cello in the jazz context.
And the recording has a great soundstage, with loads of space, and the percussion is very well recorded, as is standard with ECM.
Overall, adventurous stuff without being too far "outside".
