I would look for the very best speakers that you find emotionally involving... ones that capture the music for you. I have been at this for fifty years... and speakers choices always led the way for me to make my system better. If you don't connect with them, the rest doesn't matter

Typically if you are going to start a new system or upgrade a new system, you start with the speakers. They set the tone for everything else. So, even though you may have all the electronics, I still recommend finding speakers  that sound just right to you. It is likely your electronics will support them, And in the unlikely event they don’t, then it is best to swap them out long term.

I have an interest  in the Harbeth/Tannoy/Fyne sound. No real way to audition them:(

Don't take my word for it.

I'd suggest two Velodyne GmbH DD-10 Plus subwoofers positioned using the subwoofer crawl prior to Auto EQ which can then be manually adjusted to your personal taste to any future system changes.

The Pulsars are pretty darn good speakers.  What specific improvements are you looking for, what’s your budget, and are you looking for new or used?
