Boron vs aluminum for cantilever on DL301 Mk2 retip?

I need to replace the cantilever as the tip broke off. Cantilever looks good but will still need an inspection. If all checks out, will a boron cantilever take anything away from this cart? Curious if anyone has used a boron on this cart, all input appreciated.

Always best to have a experience of a few rebuilds when working through things.

The question is whether you want to hear the effects of aluminum or whether you want the transparency of boron.  

Changing a Lyra Clavis da Capo cantilever to boron from the Cerralloy cantilever made a world of positive difference.  Cerralloy is a much better cantilever material than aluminum.
