Audio Research and Wilson Sabrina

Would like some feedback please on who uses Audio Research amps for Sabrina's.  Currently I'm using a REF75SE with a REF6 preamp. ChatGPT says the REF75SE is a recommended amp but can be limited due to peak power demands. I love the amp but wondering what experiences any of you may have? A REF150SE or GS150 i know are the next steps up the ARC ladder. And no I can't afford a REF160 unfortunately 😔  Mainly listen at 80-85 dB in a 16x16 room with vaulted ceilings.

@deep_333   Variety is the spice of life and the enemy of synergy. ARC amps play well with ARC preamps.

@samzx12 here’s the review I was referring to

As I mentioned above, I believe you will retain the main sound characteristics of your 75SE but will gain in dynamics and control. It’s not about how loud you listen. It’s about how the amp drives your speakers and the 150SE will have more control.
I don’t know how your subwoofer is integrated into your system but it shouldn’t be the main source of bass. In my room, I never felt the need for a sub with the Sabrinas. I have plenty of bass that is accurate and articulate.
Also, moving these speakers away from front wall and more into the room improves bass quality. Adding limited range bass traps took the bass to a whole new level.
There’s a lot of potential with these speakers and they are transparent enough to reveal even the slightest changes in room acoustics or equipment and cables.

Happy Listening and Happy New Year!
