Audio Research and Wilson Sabrina

Would like some feedback please on who uses Audio Research amps for Sabrina's.  Currently I'm using a REF75SE with a REF6 preamp. ChatGPT says the REF75SE is a recommended amp but can be limited due to peak power demands. I love the amp but wondering what experiences any of you may have? A REF150SE or GS150 i know are the next steps up the ARC ladder. And no I can't afford a REF160 unfortunately 😔  Mainly listen at 80-85 dB in a 16x16 room with vaulted ceilings.

For many years, if not still, Audio Research always demoed, and also tested when voicing, their products using Wilson speakers, so that should be a great fit.

I have a pair of ARC Ref 250SE monoblocks for sale, if you want to up your ARC game a bit.

There is a review of Sabrinas where a reviewer is using several amps for evaluation, one of them is 75SE. Read it.
I was considering trying 75SE but was worried it wouldn’t be enough. The Sabrinas are not easy on amps due to a dip into 2ohms. I found more current is always better with these speakers. I used Pass XA30.8, Simaudio 330a, Pass X260.8 mono amps, Coda CSIB V1, and now using Boulder 866. Based on my experience high quality high power amps have better control of Sabrina woofers balancing the overall presentation more towards smoother and more dynamic delivery.
Pretty sure going up ARC line will result in better performance.

I ran that exact set up with REF75SE and LS28SE- totally rocked and a great pairing, never any issue wanting more power or bass- that amp kicks ass and I went on to run Sasha 2 with it for quite a while !

Wow, thank you guys for the feedback and taking the time to comment.  Dave as always i definitely trust your opinion especially since you’ve heard my system. I remember you mentioning now that the amp had no problems or sounded constricted in louder passages.  Suppose more headroom is nice however I don’t listen extremely loud and my room is medium sized. Maybe now I’ll add a 2nd subwoofer 😁  And by the way Dave your system I feel the same.  Don't change a thing.
