I’ve loved it and the show since I was very young. I play it every year and just scored the SACD version on eBay which is a rarity! Merry Christmas to everyone.
A Charlie Brown Christmas 24/192 Qobuz
Who has listened to this this season? If this doesn't give you the warm and fuzzies I don't know what will. Almost finished streaming the remastered and expanded version, 14 tracks, yet it is only 43 minutes, from Qobuz on high res, and not the best recording by any means, but sounds pretty decent. Some hiss, large soundstage, and of course many tunes that could have been 10 times as long as they are. Skating is just 2:25? Come on! And this was produced 60 years ago!
I think I will hear it in its entirety again when it is done. Maybe I'll try the 24 track version next.
