I checked out those ATC studio monitors you mentioned a while back. Prices range from 5000 to 25000 per pair. I bet they measure and sound really well at those prices. Re: Hiromi, Anthony Jackson and Simon Philips I saw the trio in NYC in 2015. I also saw Hiromi's Sonic Wonder last year and Hiromi's Sonic Bloom in 2009, both in NYC as well Hiromi is the best piano/keyboard player I have ever saw live. Her enthusiasm is electrifying and she is definitely a crowd pleaser. Anthony Jackson, R.I.P., was a virtuosic bass player and Simon Phillips is a phenomenal and multi faceted drummer at home in both jazz and rock. I have all of his Protocol CDs. |
