Thank You for getting back.
One man's relaxed and open could sound muddy to someone else. Or one man's detailed could sound bright and edgy to another etc.
Listening differentiation can be made in well setup system where the soundstage is created in front of you and you enjoy that. But I guess that my listening skills are not as well developed as you - since I would not be able to differentiate in the space you have.
Does everyone on this forum have huge listening rooms and abyssal trenches for pockets?
Agreed, not everyone has huge listening rooms. People should make choices of equipment that suite the room they have - including a woofer. I certainly do not have pockets for a Shunyata Everest.
Those cables have been dumped unceremoniously in another room for now.
In this department, you win hands down, since you dump thousands of $s worth of cables, while I take the cable out and put it back in it's box carefully before selling.
I have now understood your POV and how different we think about sound and taking care of our equipment. Enjoy your music!
