Streamer without internet

Hello,  I have a vacation cabin in Ontario where I spend several weeks a year.  I have a modest system with a Moon 340 integrated amp with the 340 D3PX option of DAC and digital inputs.  It does not have the Mind streamer.  This connects to a pair of Proac D2 stand  mount speakers.  My issue is that I do not have wifi or internet available, and it seems all streamers run on some sort of internet.  It does of course have digital inputs such as usb and aes and coax and optical.  I put my large stored music on a hard drive but the 340i does not read it.  I am able to run my macbook using apple music into it successfully.  So are there other streamers available which can better supply digital music to my Moon 340?  I have tried my Auralic Aries, but I can't even get by set up without wifi.  The Macbook does work, using usb c to usb B, but I doubt this is the best solution.  Thanks if anyone has suggestions!  I understand I will not be able to stream Qobuz, but looking for the best sound from a hard drive.  Thanks!

@fastfreight here’s a proposed solution…

1. You need to set up LAN with wifi. You don’t need internet for this. You need a wifi router that doesn’t require internet to be setup.
2. hardwire your Moon streamer to thus router

3. Connect your smartphone or tablet to this LAN wifi. You should now be able to control your streamer

4. your library on a hard drive - try copying this library onto an external usb drive that is NTFS formatted. Your moon should be able to read it if the USB port on it is configured to read external drives.

You should be all set.

You do not need a streamer, when you are only playing local files, not internet streaming. A laptop/computer with hires capable software (Jriver, roon, Audirvana) and an external DAC is all you need. The computer stores files, the software reads&sends digital info to DAC, DAC converts to analog signal and sends it to your amp. No internet/LAN required anywhere.

Thank you all for your suggestions!  I have considered much of this.  Remembering that it is a cabin in the woods, I am trying to keep it as simple and economical as possible.  The amp and speakers were a good find used  but do sound sweet!

I have a lot of high res music on a hard drive, so I like the idea of using my current laptop as long as I have software that will run it.  Apple music will not even import any high res music for me.  So  Audirvana sounds interesting and no more boxes.  So tell me if I am right:  I install Audirvana on my Macbook and plug in my hard drive to my macbook.  It will then read and play all of this music?  Will it also see and play from my library in Apple music?  I assume I can create whatever playlists I want as long as I do it on the laptop.

I also have a Roon account, so ? I could transfer my core to the laptop when I go to the cabin?  Then I could play Roon on my laptop and output it directly to my Moon integrated??  I understand I would not have my extensivie list of favorite Qobuz streams, only what is on the hard drive.

Which would be better?

Thanks again,  Ken
