The $250 power cables and $600 power strip that dethroned my $10k Shunyata Everest

Hello fellow audiophiles. I've been using products from QSA Lanedri who I believe offer the best price to performance ratio on the market today for their power and signal cables. You may have heard of Quantum Science Audio fuses and might even have some installed in your system. QSA Lanedri have perfected this technology/treatment and are now offering it in their power and signal products. The line of products in particular is called Veridion Discovery which is their most affordable line. I currently own 2 Veridion Discovery power strips (daisy chained), 8 power cables, 3 ethernet cables, 1 DC cable. Initially I was sent a power and ethernet cable to try and was so impressed I ordered more including the power strips. I have been comparing their power cables to much more expensive cables from Audioquest and Furutech. I've also been comparing their power strip to my Shunyata Everest power conditioner and found I prefer the Discovery power strip. Infact I'm in the process of trading in my Shunyata Everest and corresponding Sigma X power cable for either a better integrated amplifier or speakers. Once you pair up Discovery power cables with the Discovery power strip things improve dramatically. Not only does audio improve but picture quality and home cinema improves also and will challenge anything at any price. I will say the Discovery line requires a few days of continuous use or "burn in" period before proper evaluation. I compared their Ethernet cables to the likes of Audioquest Diamond and Wireworld Platinum Starlight 8 and again preferred the Discovery line. Through the Discovery products music sounds cleaner and clearer with a heightened sense of realism. This also applies to film and TV. Compared to the Shunyata Everest picture quality is now cleaner with more vibrant colours. Motion and panning shots are improved with less stutter. I will add that I have the power strips on Auva EQ CSA1 isolation footers. All of my equipment is sitting on Auva EQ footers which I found were better than the Isoacoustic Oreo footers I had previously. The Discovery products look very basic and don't scream high end but from my experience they can go toe to toe with the best at very affordable prices! They offer a 30 day money back guarantee for peace of mind. Definitely worth a look. Cheers.

Healthy skepticism is welcome and encouraged in this hobby. Questioning claims, choosing not to try a product, or deciding it isn’t for you are all perfectly valid positions. What is not constructive, however, is repeatedly attacking the people who share their personal listening experiences.

There is a clear and recurring pattern in the way feedback is being challenged here:

  1. When long-standing Audiogon members post impressions, they are accused of impersonation or account misuse.

  2. When newer members share feedback, they are dismissed simply because it is their first post.

  3. When users have high-end systems, their competence or listening ability is questioned.

  4. When users have more modest systems, their feedback is dismissed as “not good enough” to be meaningful.

  5. When posts attacking other members are moderated, the platform itself is blamed for censorship.

  6. Nearly every response focuses on ridiculing the person rather than discussing the product or the technology.

This approach makes it impossible for any user to share feedback without being attacked—regardless of experience level, system quality, or account history.

Again, skepticism is not the issue. Many of us are skeptics by nature. But dismissing a product without listening to it, and then mocking those who have, does not contribute to a productive discussion. It shifts the conversation away from ideas and experiences and toward personal attacks, which benefits no one.

For context, this brand publicly presented its Veridion technology at the last AXPONA show. Shows of that scale conduct a basic level of due diligence before allowing exhibitors, which should at least establish that this is not some fly-by-night operation.

The purpose of this thread is simple: to allow users to share firsthand experiences with QSA Lanedri products, whether positive, neutral, or negative. Readers can then decide for themselves what to think—or whether to engage at all.

If you are skeptical, that’s fine. If you are curious, ask questions. But please allow others to share their experiences without being mocked or personally attacked.

Let’s keep the discussion focused on the technology and the listening results, not the individuals posting them.

Thank you roper for calling out this trio and any others behaving in the same manner.  You are far more articulate than I am going to be.

It is one thing to make a point.  It is quite another to flog the issue with incessant variations on the same theme.  Particularly when you have not used the product.  This tantamount to barking at the moon.

Since these posts don’t contribute anything and are for your enjoyment rather than the thread participants, why not bark elsewhere?

It wouldn’t surprise me if you all had a secret handshake.

We prefer to think of ourselves as a bulwark against mendacity, ignorance, and bad cables 😃

@roper of course. Calling BS doesn’t agree with your agenda and as such it’s definitely an attack. Toughen it out. When you’re selling unicorn tears be prepared to be challenged.

you mean like all the testimonials from the QSA sales people on this thread? Come on now.
