Millisecond delay to the beginning of songs streaming

Hi, All,

For some reason the very beginning of every song is cut off when streaming. It’s literally less than like half a second…Streamer is Eversolo DMP-A6 Master with TP power supply. I am using Quobuz. I also have Bluesound Icon streaming via Qobuz in my second system that does not have this issue…

Any idea why or what is causing this or how to remedy?

Thanks so much in advance!

@buellrider97 Thank you. Appreciate the empathy😊. And thanks for the advice. I am going to dig into the settings through the Eversolo app.

Taking a minute to thank All once again for taking the time to respond😊

What a coincidence? For many of the last listening sessions, I  have had the same  initial music interruption.  I stream via a Bricasti DAC with a  network card. This via Qobuz and Audirvana. Prior to the last  update (I believe was Audirvana) I had no issue, However, I do now. It usually passes within a second or 2, give or take, then plays normally. I have had instances where it lasted a bit longer and was forced to leave a certain song and possibly come back later. I'm going to take a guess that your Eversolo streamer is just fine. Hope this helps. Robert TN

I may be wrong (often), but it is my understanding that the problem is caused by the DAC when adjusting to a change in streaming quality. It is my understanding that R2R DAC’s are particularly susceptible. However, it would only be a problem when playing different songs from different artists, not if you are streaming an album.
