Sorry for your issue , that is a bummer. I can’t provide an answer as I have different gear. But based on some of the other comments, I have an Innuos Pulse Mini to a Schiit Yiggy and in the Pulse settings there is a delay setting. I have mine at 500ms, it goes up to 2000ms. I stream Tidal, Qbuz and mostly listen to radio channels and they all delay about the same but never cut the front of a track. In my application it is in the settings for the DAC that are in the STREAMER settings. In other words it recognizes multiple DAC’s and let’s me set how it feeds that DAC. I hope there is something that you might find to mitigate your issue. Best Wishes , Mike B
Millisecond delay to the beginning of songs streaming
Hi, All,
For some reason the very beginning of every song is cut off when streaming. It’s literally less than like half a second…Streamer is Eversolo DMP-A6 Master with TP power supply. I am using Quobuz. I also have Bluesound Icon streaming via Qobuz in my second system that does not have this issue…
Any idea why or what is causing this or how to remedy?
Thanks so much in advance!

@mashif Thanks & I found it. Will try it for a while at the 2 second setting. I also only use the Sense app. Love it! Thanks again, Mashif. -Jim |
@buellrider97 Thank you. Appreciate the empathy😊. And thanks for the advice. I am going to dig into the settings through the Eversolo app. Taking a minute to thank All once again for taking the time to respond😊 |
What a coincidence? For many of the last listening sessions, I have had the same initial music interruption. I stream via a Bricasti DAC with a network card. This via Qobuz and Audirvana. Prior to the last update (I believe was Audirvana) I had no issue, However, I do now. It usually passes within a second or 2, give or take, then plays normally. I have had instances where it lasted a bit longer and was forced to leave a certain song and possibly come back later. I'm going to take a guess that your Eversolo streamer is just fine. Hope this helps. Robert TN |
I may be wrong (often), but it is my understanding that the problem is caused by the DAC when adjusting to a change in streaming quality. It is my understanding that R2R DAC’s are particularly susceptible. However, it would only be a problem when playing different songs from different artists, not if you are streaming an album. |
