Revel Performa M126Be, Philharmonic The BMR Monitor, or PS Audio Aspen ?

Looking to get a stand mount speaker, and these 3 are on my short list.

Im leaning towards the Philharmonic BMR.

Any input or other suggestions is appreciated (trying to keep it in the $2000-3000 range (looking used too)

Thanks

Here’s a pair of used Joseph Audio Prisms at the low end of your price range that are definitely worth a look.  They offer a good portion of the acclaimed Pulsars at a fraction of the price.  If you value a neutral yet natural sound and an expansive 3D soundstage with speakers that disappear as a sound source in the room these will be hard to beat at the price.  There’s a crap review of them on Absolute Sound where the idiot reviewer spent most of the time/review with them on his desktop where no one will use these speakers, but you can still get some sense of their sound there if interested.  Best of luck.

Check out Studio Eleectric M4.   Great speaker.   I owned the original Revel m106.  Good speaker but I like the M4 a lot better.  Built a lot better too.  The Revel look nice but the build quality isn't on par with their appearance.    Built in Indonesia.

My Revel replaced a pair of PSB M2 which was a seriously well built and great sounding speaker.   For what it's worth I had buyer's remorse and wished I had kept the PSB.  I learned a valuable lesson, never sell your current  speaker first .

The BMR are supposed to be great, they were out of stock when I looked at them in the spring with no ETA.     That's when I tried the Studio Electric,  was in love with them after a few tracks.

I have the ps audio they have the fast responsive ribbon and great base.check thier website they may have some open box sale or hifishark. I have toured thier factory and talked to Paul and company they have great customer support. I also have revel .happy search.

can you audition them? Or what can you or want to audition is the question. I assume the BMR would be a blind faith decision unless you can return it.

I would not want to steer you away from the BMRs but you have options...
