Ethernet switch worthwhile?

Is anyone using an audiophile ethernet switch for streaming as is it worth it? Recently was recommended using Uptone Audio EtherRegen switch to remove noise and jitter from the ethernet cable before it enters my Aurender N10 streamer. Or does the N10 also remove the same once it enters its own ethernet connection?  Also read Synergistic Research ethernet switch is very good. Thoughts?

Have to say I've started quite a few topics on here, and this by far most responses.  As I sit hear listening to Boston on vinyl. Lol

I have more than a feeling that I will be trying this iFi gadget soon…

@rikkipuu nice system! Although the cat entertainment center near your Maggies scares the 💩 out of me. Lol

@audphile1

HaHa....  If you build it they will come :)

That was my old house, we moved a year ago, I updated my picture tonight.  Lost one of my cats and the other doesn't venture into the "NoNo Room."

NoNo Room is the name of the room I will teach to my grandkids, they scare the .... out of me more than the cats!

If you are using a wall wart for anything, get rid of it. I use a commercial grade switch using an expensive power cord to it, no wall wart. I use this right after the mesh router in my audio room.

I’ve heard so called audiophile music switches at a couple audio shows and I didn’t think those demonstrations were very good at demonstrating any difference 1 of these switches made, a couple of these demos I thought it sounded better without the audiophile switch. I’ve heard much bigger improvements in changing power cables than changing switches.

A few of these switches are your typical netgear cheap switches with a resistor embedded in them, look at some of the reviews.

Also, a reviewer claims the sq is better if you use 2 cheap switches instead of 1 audiophile switch.

Then you have the option of converting Ethernet to fiber then back to Ethernet right before your source component. Fiber gets rid of all the noise. If you have only a couple of sources you need a quieter signal (?), I would use fiber.

Wll go the ifi- lan ipurifier pro for $299 and wow, very happy with results.  More analog sounding with less digital sterile sound. Better overall bass and bringing forward background vocals. Much smoother, cleaner presentation overall. We'll worth the spend. I notice zero sound degradation, only nice improvements.  Very dead silent background.  Highly recommend.
