Seeking a new CD Transport

Looking for a new CD transport to be used with my Weiss 204 Dac.

So far, I have read about the following Transports:

1. Audiolab 9000 CDT,

2. Shanling ET-3,

3. Shanling XST720 Onix  Zenith SACD transport

4. Teac VRDS-701T

I have many CD's and is good as my streaming is which consists of Lumin U2 mini with a LHY linear power supply from Vinshine Audio,  My budget is maximum $2500,00 new only. Any suggestions would be appreciated,

The rest of my system consists of a Bryston 4b3 Cubed power amp, a Conrad Johnson ET-7 linestage and a pair of JBL 4349 loudspeaker. I was the person that was looking for speakers that sound alive a low to moderate listening levels. I listen at around 55 dbs with intermittent peaks of 60-62.   Thank you for any suggestions.

+2 for Jay’s Audio CDT2 MK3. It should barely fit within your budget and well worth it if you spin a lot of CDs like I do. I have had mine nearly 2 years and it has performed flawlessly.

....over your budget new, used to be close to your budget max but guess for whatever reason, things have changed pricewise.....can find one used every now and then...

or 'tis the season...so time to wheel and deal...some good online us dealers...you may come close to your price

doubt you'd regret it...if cd's are your main thing then spend some money on your transport.to equal the other gear and investment...also to take advantage of the quality DAC you have....

and, um, yeah, i had an inexpensive chinese transport, won't mention a mfr as i have other chinese gear that is fine, and it sounded, well, remember when someone said you get what you pay for?...great value for background music use, but not for high fidelity concentrated listening,...this defines getting what you paid for, it works though...and if you can't hear the difference then I'd say please enjoy. it.....there's no need for anything else...it's all how it sounds to you that counts...

others i've had i can recommend.....

Primare....excellent transports.....had DD15 and DD35.....

lots of good recommendations already given here.....just my addition, and, of course, opinions vary!

good luck!
