Anyone else prefer listening to their system more than a concert?

(a) I don't have to drive anywhere, deal with parking, or rude audiences

(b) I have full control of volume to protect my (dwindling) hearing

(c) I've already paid for the media, so listening selection cost is $0

(d) I can pause to go pee whenever the urge hits

(e) Other than classical, all the artists I would have paid to hear are either dead or senile

Civility is relaxing.

I know talented young musicians who can't even cut it to 2000 dollars a month (might as well pay the rent and load up on ramen noodles).

They can get some cash from tours and cd sales (streaming paid them nothing). If the concert hall was empty, they'll all fizzle out soon enough and all ye old lads can be happy with your AI music, thereafter.
