Noted. I can accept your skepticism of the article and its contents. I may have a different conclusion, but can respect why you might be critical of the arguments made. That said, I honestly have no idea how to respond to faustuss and so I won’t - certainly not worth it. His/her response is both lacking context and substance. It’s bewildering to me when I’m merely providing a link that might help some folks understand the basis of the discussion. Richard Brand did the same thing on a link I provided regarding network switches. It’s curious why conversations here so easily devolve to childish sniping. WBF is far more civilized and the people there tend to be significantly more knowledgeable as well. An interesting correlation. I get audiophiles are passionate and I suppose the veil of anonymity has created an environment where it’s too easy to be less than our better selves. I assume we are here to learn from each other about a shared hobby but I’m finding it increasingly less pleasant to participate. |

You think we should except hyperbole as fact. Nnnnno! Oh, your grammar is incorrect here. You don’t reword an individual’s comments and put them in quotes unless its verbatim. Otherwise, you’re just taking it out of context. With that I believe you’re referencing my long list of interconnects and cables followed by my technically accurate assertion regarding why I think cables make a difference followed by the priorities I use to choose these components for my system, I then concluded with a little tongue in cheek.
