Bryston Loudspeakers?

Hey Audiogoners!

I am just wondering whether any of you here have heard Bryston's debut range of loudspeakers? A couple of things puzzles me about the range, first it's the outdated aesthetic and the double midrange and double tweeter configuration in the floorstanding model. What benefit does that kind of driver configuration yield? And can't Bryston afford to make better looking enclosures?

It was a joint project between Axiom and Bryston. If you meander over to Audiocircles you'll find plenty of info on their new speakers
There's a reason there are so few manufacturers that can successfully build and sell both electronics and speakers. A mid to high end company like Bryston working with a lower end speaker company to enter the speaker market seems like an odd strategy to me from a credibility perspective at the very least. This looks like a rare misstep by Bryston.
