Mini amp with passlabs / tube like sound

Hello,

i am looking for a small low wattage amp, preferably solid state (as I’ve been burning out too many tube amps) for my dining room setup with home made open baffle speakers.

The speakers work well with tubes and a small set amp, have been using the small amp from musical paradise, but I’m open to suggestions.

what would make a good small simple amp with a set tube like sound?

thanks,

Richard

Some fosi audio let you change the op amp just like tube rolling and I do like the 48 volt 300 watts.schiit audio is a bargain as well.rember Amazon has a return policy and so does paRts express as they both carry dfosi incase you don't like it.  I just bought a smls amp from apos it's a gan class d 500 watts into mono  250 stero sounds clean. Enjoy the hunt and the music.

The OP hasn't defined what footprint size is needed for the amp.  As mentioned, the obvious answer is First Watt.  If you have space for a First Watt, consider a Linear Tube Audio amp.  Just as small, lightweight, long tube life, and tube sound.  I have an Ultralinear and I love it.

Schiit Rekkr. If you can find them. They are stereo but can be used as mono amps.
