No suggestion, but I just lower it manually and control the speed of my hand movement. If I had installed the finger lift, I'd do it entirely manually. I forgot to do it in my haste to hear the turntable. Now, I don't want to install the finger lift because I have the cartridge perfectly aligned and don't want to screw up the alignment. It's no big deal for me because I hand cue on all my other turntables anyway. I prefer the control.
Dampening VPI Cueing Mechanism
My VPI cueing mechanism is a bit too fast. Any suggestions on fluid or grease that can be used to dampen it?
