Installing huge tv with drywall lifter ?

As TV’s have become insanely large and heavy, it’s getting harder and harder to find a friend to come help.. I’ve exhausted all my helpers and need a tool move my 85 in Sony (110lbs) by myself. All I need to do is add an Apple TV. Quick and simple and not worth calling a friend again.

Surely someone has a tool, jack, or lift for quickly lifting a TV on the wall. I was told a Drywall Lift may be what I’m looking for but those sure are big.

Anyone else had any luck with something like this?

dekay, thank you but I'm not interested in paying and scheduling a couple of dudes to come out to hold my tv for literally 5 seconds. Many people, like myself, find myself tinkering alone late at night and I move things around too often to call someone every time I need a hand.

Looking for a problem where the solution already exists. With the size of TVs these days having two people is a must where concern of flexing and breaking panel is very common on a TV of that size. Wait until you start dealing with 100 inch And higher. on Amazon that drywall lift is $175, buy a lot of really good beer for your friends.

gkelly, friends dont love doing this because they know it's a beast of a tv and they don't mind calling for help. I just like to have options to do things myself. I've always been very resourceful but this one has me in a tizzy.

There's t his thing called the EZ Lift made for this, but it's $1500 and very large and heavy, which i guess is to be expected.

I just wanted to see if some of you have thought of a clever way of doing this.
