Your oldest gear?

What’s the oldest piece of equipment in your system?

What piece of equipment have you owned the longest?

I have a Thorens TD124 turntable, with an SME arm, purchased by the original owner in or about 1962. The original owner was a friend and I bought the table and arm from the original owners’ daughter after he passed away. The table had been unused in years, but in my home, it’s now in regular use.

An Altec 846A Valencia system is the oldest but they have been completely reworked by professionals. I have not however owned them the longest. My Luxman 441 is the component I've owned the longest at 22yrs. It's a lot older than that but that's how long I've had it. Exceptional TT mated w/Micro Seiki arm. I love older gear and nothing beats playing vintage & classic components with newer streamers/DACs and other. Just my experience.

I still have my CEC TL1x that I bought new in 1992. I still use it when i want to play CD's.

JM Labs Mezzo Utopia(and Sub Utopia) speakers from 2008. So 17 years.

JM Labs was using Focal drivers but black oxide Titanium tweeters for the Utopia line then and not Beryllium tweeters which I am happy to say.
